Broken into teeny little pieces by the end of a relationship I decided to fly 6000 miles around the World to teach English. Again. (This time: Vietnam). Also, started a blog. This one. I don’t have the faintest idea where I’m going but at least I’m going somewhere.
My blog falls into 3 neat little categories. Things about M – my ex-wife – because writing about my confused feelings helps.
Travelly-travel things because I like travelly-travel stuff.
Musings on misogyny, sexism and feminism because it’s amazing to me how f*cked up and far we still are from true equality.
I haven’t used any real names because I haven’t asked anyone who pops up in this blog if they mind being written about. Even so, I have two aims – absolute honesty and no self-pity, though in the interests of honesty, into this blog some self-pity may slip.
M – Former partner of 9 years.
G – Witty, erudite and bonkers wine drinking & chain smoking companion.
L, P – Close friends.
